An announcement offering a heavy Il-76MD transport aircraft for sale has appeared on the Gostorg electronic trading platform. The owner of the aircraft is OAO Transaviaexport Airlines.
The starting price of the lot is $2,650,000, excluding VAT. To participate in the auction, a potential buyer must submit a deposit of $265,000. The auction step is set at 5 percent of the price.
The aircraft offered for sale was manufactured in 1988 and has the factory serial number 0083487607. It is located on the premises of the National Airport Minsk. According to the lot description, the aircraft is being sold in a partially dismantled condition: the plane lacks aircraft engines, an auxiliary power unit, and special-purpose equipment. It is noted that the property is used, and the operability of its units and assemblies has not been verified, which does not rule out the discovery of hidden defects during subsequent diagnostics or dismantling.
The electronic auction is being organized by the Republican Unitary Enterprise Institute of Real Estate and Valuation. Applications from interested parties will be accepted until 16:00 on March 25, 2026, and the auction itself is scheduled for 11:00 on March 27. All costs related to loading and transportation of the aircraft will be borne by the buyer, as the seller does not provide services for the removal of the sold property.
