Shahed-Like Drone Flies Over Homyel

An unidentified drone producing a distinctive sound similar to that of a moped was spotted over various districts of Homyel on the morning of February 26.

“Visual observations of the UAV indicate that a Russian Shahed-136 (Geran) UAV is likely circling over Homyel,” Flagstok reports.

Ukrainian monitoring channels have not recorded drone incursions into the Homyel region in recent hours.

The first reports of the drone appeared in local chats at around 9:20 am. Later, a helicopter was seen flying after the UAV.
