Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is ready for a ceasefire during Easter, as well as for a so-called energy ceasefire.
“We are ready for a ceasefire during the Easter holidays. In my view, honestly, normal people who value life speak about a ceasefire and ending the war for life, not for a few days. But of course, we are ready for any compromises except compromises on our dignity and sovereignty”, Ukrainska Pravda quoted him as saying.
According to him, he is ready to discuss any type of ceasefire.
“We are ready to discuss any ceasefire. A full ceasefire… A ceasefire in the energy sector. A ceasefire in the sphere of food security and energy, meaning both at sea and in the air. A full ceasefire — so that no missiles or drones fly. No strikes on infrastructure. We have proposed all this. And we are open. If the Russians are ready — please, we are ready. Let them propose any timeframe — we are ready to resolve this issue”, he added.
