The Ministry of Information of Belarus has updated the “Republican List of Extremist Materials”. Among other entries, it now includes the YouTube channel “vDud”, which has more than 10 million subscribers. The corresponding decision was made on April 27, 2026, by the Zheleznadarozhny District Court of Vitsyebsk.
The updated list also includes:
- the book “Myastsovyya vybary u naineyshai palitychnai historyi Belarusi – Mensk: Analitichny grudok 2003. – 296 s”
- the website “ecohome.ngo”;
- the TikTok page “user37482224238772”;
- the VKontakte page “Kali laska – Belarus”;
- Instagram pages “e.solenkov”, “baza-_florida”, “Shimizu satoshi”, “komissarovalecs”, “malyavko.vladimir”, “jurkadeshuk”, “vasili.nikalayey.official”, “Belarusy Tampy”;
- Facebook pages “Baza Florida”, “Paŭliuk Bykouski”, “Siarhei Piatrukhin”, “Usau Pavel”, “Mikhail Politiko”, “Belarusy Tampy i vakolits (Tampa, St. Pete, Sarasota etc.)”;
- the Threads page “klasby84”.
Belarusian authorities regularly use extremism charges to target political opponents and dissent more broadly.
