Belarus will open consulates general in Krasnoyarsk and Novosibirsk. The move is предусмотрено by Council of Ministers Resolution No. 384 of July 30, “On the Foreign Missions of the Republic of Belarus in the Cities of Krasnoyarsk and Novosibirsk (Russian Federation),” which was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal.
The consulates general are to be opened by Nov. 1 this year. By the same deadline, the branches of the Belarusian Embassy in Krasnoyarsk and Novosibirsk are to be closed.
The new missions will be financed from funds allocated to the Foreign Ministry for the establishment and maintenance of diplomatic missions and consular offices.
