On July 31, at the Novaya Huta border crossing on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border, 10 Ukrainian pensioners and people with reduced mobility, as well as four children, were reunited with their families.

The 10 pensioners and people with reduced mobility had been living in Russia and will now travel to join their relatives in Ukraine.

“Another five people were able to return from Ukraine to Belarus, where their relatives are already waiting for them,” the First News Channel reported.

Four Ukrainian children who had been in Russia were also reunited with their relatives — a six-year-old boy, a nine-year-old girl, and two 15-year-old teenagers.

The return of the Ukrainian children was made possible through the mediation of Melania Trump, Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets said.
