Well-Known Photographer Andrei Liankevich Detained At Polish-Belarusian Border – Rights Defenders

The Viasna Human Rights Centre reported that well-known photographer Andrei Liankevich has been detained at the border between Poland and Belarus.

According to preliminary information, the reason was an “extremist subscription” found on his phone. The photographer is expected to face trial in an administrative case.

Andrei Liankevich is a well-known photographer with more than 80 exhibitions in Europe, Asia and the United States. His photographs are held in private collections in many countries.
