Tsikhanouskaya Condemns New Smugglers’ Weather-Balloon Raids on Lithuania

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya expressed solidarity with Lithuania following a new wave of smugglers’ weather-balloon incursions that twice disrupted operations at Vilnius Airport.

“I strongly condemn the smugglers’ balloons and Lukashenka’s continued provocations. Vilnius Airport was disrupted again on Sunday.

Lukashenka behaves like a gangster who understands only the language of force.

We fully stand with Lithuania in the face of these hybrid attacks,” she wrote on X.

Vilnius Airport suspended operations on Saturday evening and again during the night on Monday. According to Lithuanian authorities, radar recorded more than 40 traces corresponding to weather balloons.
