Aliaksandr Lukashenka has signed the decree “On Discharge to the Reserve and Conscription for Military Service and Reserve Service”, providing for the next conscription campaign to take place from September to November 2026.
According to the document, Belarusian male citizens who have reached the age of 18 by the day of conscription and are not entitled to a deferment, as well as conscription-age citizens who have lost the right to a deferment, will be called up for compulsory military service and reserve service.
At the same time, the decree provides for the discharge to the reserve of conscripted servicemen who have completed their prescribed terms of service.
“The adoption of the decree will enable republican state administration bodies, as well as local executive and administrative authorities, to carry out in a timely manner the measures related to conscripting citizens for compulsory military service and reserve service.”, Lukashenka’s press service said.
