A traffic accident with unusual consequences occurred on the Minsk Ring Road this morning.
According to the Minsk City Executive Committee’s Traffic Police Department, a 42-year-old Fiat driver was traveling on the inner carriageway of the Minsk Ring Road near the 30th kilometer when, according to preliminary information, he became distracted, failed to maintain a safe following distance, and collided with a Belarus tractor towing a trailer that was traveling in the same direction. As a result, the trailer attached to the passenger car overturned, spilling the blueberries it was carrying onto the roadway.
No one was injured.
