U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will hold a meeting on July 23.
“The meeting has already been agreed. We briefly saw each other yesterday at a reception with Marco Rubio and confirmed that it will take place tomorrow morning.”, Lavrov said at a press conference in Manila, where ASEAN events are being held.
According to Lavrov, he intends to ask Rubio about U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks regarding the possibility of a swift settlement. He expressed confidence that the meeting would be useful in any case.
