Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya met with Polish President Karol Nawrocki on the sidelines of the Three Seas Initiative summit in Dubrovnik, Croatia, the Office of Tsikhanouskaya reported.
Tsikhanouskaya thanked Nawrocki for his attention to the case of Andrzej Poczobut (Andrei Pachobut). The parties discussed further steps in cooperation.
“I was glad to meet with the President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, on the sidelines of the Three Seas Initiative in Dubrovnik. I expressed gratitude to Poland and personally to the President for the constant attention at the highest level to the case of Andrzej Poczobut, who was released today, as well as for awarding him last year Poland’s highest state decoration — the Order of the White Eagle. We discussed current developments and the next steps in our cooperation,” Tsikhanouskaya said.
As a reminder, journalist Andrzej Poczobut was released today as part of a “5-for-5” exchange between Belarus and Poland.
