Belarus’ Transport Ministry raised issues affecting the country’s aviation sector with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). A delegation from the ministry’s Aviation Department, led by Deputy Director Aliaksandr Apet, took part in a meeting of civil aviation directors general from ICAO regions.
“On the sidelines of the event, Belarusian aviation authorities held talks with ICAO Secretary General Juan Carlos Salazar and ICAO European and North Atlantic Regional Director Nicolas Rallo.
The parties discussed current issues of cooperation, including Belarus’ position on problematic issues affecting the operation of the country’s aviation industry under current conditions,” the Transport Ministry’s press service said.
