The farewell ceremony for Sviatlana Kurs will take place in Warsaw on July 26. At 2 p.m., a service will be held at St. Alexander’s Church. At 3:30 p.m., a public memorial ceremony will take place at the Museum of Free Belarus.
In accordance with Sviatlana’s wishes, her body has been cremated. Her family and close friends had the opportunity to say their private goodbyes beforehand.
An urn containing her ashes will be present during the farewell ceremony.
