Belarusian citizens will be able to visit Montenegro without a visa until Oct. 31 this year. This is stipulated in a government decree adopted by the Montenegrin government on July 24.
“Citizens of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation may, until Oct. 31, 2026, in accordance with the international agreements on mutual travel concluded by these states, enter, transit through and stay in Montenegro for up to 30 days with a valid travel document issued by the competent authorities of those states,” the document says.
Montenegro, which plans to join the European Union in 2028, is aligning its visa policy with EU requirements. Visa requirements apply to citizens of countries that are subject to the European Union’s visa regime.
