Planned training exercises for reservists assigned to territorial troops have been launched in the Lida district from May 5. Participants will be trained in countering drones.
During the drills, reservists will be received and equipped using the local mobilisation deployment base, command personnel of the territorial troops will refresh their skills, and reservists will be prepared to carry out territorial defence tasks.
“The main focus will be on practising territorial defence tasks by territorial troop units together with local internal affairs bodies and volunteer militias. Measures to protect personnel and key facilities from drones using active and passive countermeasures will also be practised,” the Defence Ministry’s press service reports.
