Russian marketplace Wildberries has announced the launch of a program to establish partner hubs for storing and processing goods as part of measures to support sellers and pickup point owners, amid repeated drone attacks on its logistics infrastructure.
Owners and tenants of suitable premises will be able to open partner hubs and receive compensation for processing, storing and shipping goods sold through the marketplace. Applications are being accepted from property owners and tenants across all regions of Russia.
“The project’s further geographic expansion will be determined based on the level of interest shown by potential partners,” the company said.
As previously reported, since July 18, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have carried out a series of attacks on the marketplace’s warehouse complexes. Nearly two dozen facilities have already been hit, with some of them completely destroyed by fire. Earlier today, a drone struck a Wildberries warehouse in Yekaterinburg.
