A teenager born in 2011 drowned in Svyatoye Lake in Mahiliou on the afternoon of June 23, the Belarusian Society for Water Rescue (OSVOD) reported.
He had been swimming with a group of friends. At some point, his friends lost sight of him and alerted rescuers.
The child’s body was found 30 metres from the shore at a depth of 3 metres.
