A 15-year-old boy drowned in a lake in the Mazyr district. The tragedy occurred yesterday near the village of Drozdy. OSVOD rescue workers found the body about 10 meters from the shore at a depth of around 3 meters.
According to preliminary information, a group of teenagers had been отдыхing on the lakeshore near the village in an area prohibited for swimming. The boy went into the water, jumped in, and did not resurface. Rescue services were dispatched to search for him, the OSVOD press service reported.
