The Ministry of Information has updated its list of extremist materials. The list now includes social media accounts of several well-known Belarusians, including politicians, activists, and journalists.
By a decision of the Hlusak District Court on March 4, the Facebook page of Paval Seviarynets was added to the list. The same court on March 2 recognized the Facebook page of Franak Viachorka as extremist information material.
The list also includes:
- Threads accounts Paúliuk Horbač, “Belarus Fakty”;
- Facebook accounts “Siarhei Sparysh”, Siarhei Pelesa, “Israel for a Free Belarus • Infocenter”, “Gobelarus”, “Bielorussi di Roma / Belarusians in Rome”, “Belarusian National Prize”;
- Instagram accounts “theothersby”, “vladimirshantsev”;
- the YouTube video “Aliaksandr Lukashenka _ 30 Years in Power. Results”;
- the website hetabaza.org and its resources on social networks and messengers;
- the Odnoklassniki group “Belarus Without the Cockroach…!”.
