More than 300 Belarusian schools will begin using the Electronic School information system from Sept. 1, the Education Ministry’s press service said. The system was created to simplify interaction among all participants in the educational process and replace paper-based documentation with digital records.

“Electronic class registers and student diaries will be introduced in the pilot schools. Students, parents and teachers will become familiar with the system’s new tools. A phased transition to digital systems in the country’s remaining educational institutions is planned for the 2026/2027 academic year,” the statement said.

The ministry clarified that schools already using other electronic platforms will see no changes in the new academic year, and those platforms will continue operating as usual.
