Deputy Prime Minister for Agriculture Yury Shuleika met with North Korean Ambassador to Belarus Ji Kyong-su, the government’s press service reported.
“The parties confirmed their readiness to implement all agreements reached during the visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus to Pyongyang in March 2026, discussed promising areas of bilateral cooperation, and identified key joint activities and steps to expand Belarusian-Korean cooperation in the near future,” the statement said.
Shuleika wished the ambassador success in his work in Belarus.
Observers note that one possible area of cooperation could be the employment of North Korean citizens in Belarus.
