Seven People Hospitalized After Minibus Crash in Babruisk District

Seven people were hospitalized after a minibus overturned in the Babruisk district following a collision with a wild animal, the Emergencies Ministry reported. The accident occurred on May 14 at around 9 p.m. on the eighth kilometer of the Babruisk-Mazyr highway near the village of Lysaya Horka.

The 41-year-old driver attempted to avoid hitting a wild animal but lost control of the vehicle, causing the Citroën Jumper minibus to overturn.

One passenger became trapped inside the damaged vehicle. Rescuers freed the person using special equipment and handed them over to medical personnel. Eleven people were taken to medical facilities for examination, seven of whom were hospitalized.

Traffic police, emergency responders and ambulance crews worked at the scene. An investigation into the accident is underway, the Mahiliou regional police department said.
