Russia Returns 26 Tons of Corn to Belarus Over Missing Documents

Last week, Russia blocked the import of more than 26 tons of corn from Belarus.

The truck was stopped in Russia’s Bryansk region. During the inspection, officials from Rosselkhoznadzor found that the cargo — ground corn — was being transported without phytosanitary certificates.

The corn was returned to Belarus, and those responsible have been held accountable, Rosselkhoznadzor reported.
