The band Relikt has announced the start of a tour across Poland and Lithuania. On March 27, the progressive rock collective will hold its first concert in Bialystok in support of its new album “Ramanizm”.

The post-metal band will visit seven cities — Vilnius, Warsaw, Gdansk, Krakow, Wroclaw and Poznan, along with Bialystok — in March and April. The team has begun ticket sales for the concerts today.

On February 2, Relikt released its ninth album, “Ramanizm”, in which it combined its signature progressive guitar sound with a lighter stylistic approach. Shifts in rhythmic registers, multi-part vocals, touches of electronics and the use of a broad guitar sound palette have together crystallized a fresh image of Belarusian progressive rock.

“The album contains a great deal of fantasy and dream, fairy tale and myth — and at the same time genuine feeling, a longing that does not allow the expression to slip into mere play. On top of that, the album is very beautiful and wonderfully recorded, which makes it one of the contenders for the best record of the year,” reads a review by a cultural observer for Reform.news of “Ramanizm”.
