Prosecutor’s Office Opens Bribery Case Against Finance Director Of Foreign Company

Criminal cases have been opened in Minsk over the receipt and giving of bribes. The cases were initiated by the prosecutor’s office following an inspection conducted with the participation of the Economic Crime Unit of the Zavodskoy District Police Department of Minsk.

“It was established that the recipient of the bribe was a 53-year-old finance director of a foreign company, who from November 2023 to January 2026 accepted cash totaling at least 133,000 rubles as a bribe.

The money was received exclusively in connection with her official position, for the favorable resolution of issues within her competence, namely: for facilitating the conclusion and execution of contracts for logistics services, as well as ensuring the timely payment by the foreign company to counterparties under previously concluded agreements,” the prosecutor’s office said.

The criminal cases have been forwarded to the Investigative Committee. The name of the foreign company has not been disclosed.
