Officers from the department for combating economic crimes uncovered a corruption scheme at five agricultural enterprises in the Minsk region.
According to the Interior Ministry, the 46-year-old founder of a tractor repair company paid managers of client organizations 5% of the amounts listed in completed work certificates in order to secure a steady flow of orders.
Criminal cases on bribery charges have been opened. The suspects have been detained, and their property has been seized. Operational and investigative measures are continuing, and other episodes of criminal activity are being established.
