OSCE Formally Disbands the Minsk Group

The OSCE has completed the dissolution of the Minsk Group, which was established in the last century to facilitate the settlement of the Armenia–Azerbaijan conflict.

“The OSCE completed the closure of the Minsk Process and its related structures on 30 November 2025 at 23:59,” the statement said.

Earlier, Armenia and Azerbaijan had asked the OSCE to terminate the group’s work. Before that, in August, the two countries initialled the text of an agreement on establishing peace and interstate relations. On 1 September, in response to their request, the OSCE decided to end the activities of the Minsk Group.
