Forecasters have issued an orange weather alert for Monday. On June 8, thunderstorms are expected across many parts of Belarus. Heavy rain is forecast overnight in southern and central regions and during the morning and afternoon across most of the country. During thunderstorms, squalls with wind gusts of 15–20 metres per second are expected in some areas, while strong gusty winds are forecast in eastern regions.
Weather conditions will be influenced by an active frontal system moving from Ukraine. Light fog is expected in some areas overnight and in the morning. Temperatures will range from +10°C to +17°C at night and from +17°C to +24°C during the day, reaching up to +28°C in some eastern areas.
On June 9, conditions will be partly cloudy. Short periods of rain are expected across most of the country overnight and in some areas during the day, with thunderstorms possible in isolated districts. Winds are forecast to be moderate from the west, becoming gusty during thunderstorms. Temperatures will range from +9°C to +16°C at night and from +19°C to +25°C during the day, with highs of up to +27°C in some places.
