Number of Employed in Belarusian Economy Rises in October

In October, 4.1566 million people were employed in the Belarusian economy — an increase of 5.6 thousand compared with September. In September, employment fell by 5.2 thousand. Before that, it grew in August and declined in July.

Employment also increased in October last year. As a result, compared with October 2024, the number of employed persons was higher by 39.1 thousand. The year-on-year employment indicator continues to show growth.

However, compared with December 2019, the number of employed persons has decreased by 178.4 thousand. At that time, 4.335 million people were employed in the economy.
