Forecasters have issued an orange-level heat warning for southwestern Belarus.
“During the daytime on July 17 (Friday), maximum air temperatures in the southwestern districts of the country will reach +30°C to +31°C,” the forecast said.
The rest of the country is expected to be slightly cooler. Overnight temperatures will range from +6°C in the northeast to +18°C in the west, while daytime highs will reach +23°C to +29°C.
