More Than 1 Million Rubles Allocated From Lukashenka’s Special Fund for Talented Students

More than 1 million rubles will be allocated from a special fund to support gifted pupils and students. The corresponding order was signed today by Alyaksandr Lukashenka, his press service reported.

Presidential scholarships have been awarded to 194 university students. Thirty-eight winners of international Olympiads and competitions will receive grand prizes and the title of laureate of the special fund.

Special prizes have been awarded to 320 pupils, cadets, and students.

A total of 51 awards have been granted to teaching and research staff who made a special contribution to the development of the abilities of gifted pupils and students.

In addition, more than 100,000 rubles have been allocated to support talented young people — winners of international music competitions as well as international and national artistic and creative contests.
