Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that Russia and Belarus will continue to strengthen integration.
The Russian prime minister outlined what was discussed at a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State and announced preparations for a roadmap for the next three years.
“In Moscow, we held a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Russia and Belarus. Together with colleagues, we thoroughly reviewed how the implementation of the key provisions of the Union Treaty is progressing. Preparations for a ‘roadmap’ for the next three-year period have already begun. We also discussed prospects for expanding Russian-Belarusian trade and economic ties.
We signed 15 joint documents. They will contribute to strengthening industrial, scientific and technological, and tourism potential,” Mishustin said at a meeting with deputy prime ministers on February 9.
Russia and Belarus will continue to create conditions for the development of suburban rail transport between neighboring regions, Mishustin said.
The Russian prime minister emphasized that integration with Belarus will be strengthened.
“Strengthening integration between Russia and Belarus will continue. This is important for improving the quality of life of citizens and creating additional opportunities for entrepreneurs in both countries. I ask you to ensure close cooperation with Belarusian colleagues in the areas you oversee,” he said.
