Ministry of Information Updates List of “Extremist Materials” for the First Time in 2026

The Ministry of Information has updated its list of “extremist materials” for the first time in 2026. Two resources were added to the list. The decisions to designate their information products as extremist were taken by courts in Gomel and Mahilyow on January 5.

The list includes:

a TikTok account, @rezhim_dnya;
an Instagram account, “symon_cds”.

Belarusian authorities regularly use extremism charges to crack down on opponents and dissent in general.
