Alexander Lukashenko has signed a law introducing criminal liability for the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), according to his press service.
The law establishes administrative penalties for the illegal import, storage, circulation, operation, or manufacture of civilian drones in Belarus. Repeated violations following an administrative penalty will be treated as a criminal offense.
The main provisions of the law will take effect ten days after its official publication.
