Aliaksandr Lukashenka and Vladimir Putin are holding a meeting in Astana, where events are taking place in the format of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). This was reported by Lukashenka’s press service. No further details were provided.
Earlier, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that Lukashenka and Putin had spoken several times on Thursday, May 28.
“They spoke several times on the sidelines yesterday. There was a brief exchange of views regarding Armenia. But there was no substantive conversation, simply because there was no time. At the same time, during the informal lunch, they had the opportunity to talk very well together with everyone else, and it was quite a lengthy discussion,” he said.
