Aliaksandr Lukashenka and Vladimir Putin held several brief conversations on the sidelines of the Eurasian Economic Union summit in Astana on Thursday, May 28. This was reported by Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

“They spoke several times on the sidelines yesterday. There was a brief exchange of views regarding Armenia. But there was no substantive conversation, simply because there was no time. At the same time, during the informal lunch, they had the opportunity to talk together with everyone else at length. It was quite an extended discussion,” he said, according to TASS.
