The Lidbeer festival in Lida will be held on August 29. “You didn’t imagine it, Lidbeer’2026 is happening,” the organizers wrote on social media.
Earlier, in March, information appeared that the festival would not take place “for reasons beyond the organizers’ control.”
The return of the festival was explained by the fact that this year marks the 150th anniversary of the company “Lidskaje Piva.” It was also attributed to numerous requests to bring the festival back.
The Lidbeer festival is one of the largest in Belarus, annually gathering more than 100,000 guests. In 2023, the festival took place in September after a three-year break. It was timed to the 700th anniversary of Lida. The festival was free and had different organizers. The headliner was the Belarusian symphonic orchestra Classic Energy, whose cover versions of Nirvana, Queen, and Bon Jovi were sung along to by a crowd of thousands.
In 2024, instead of the Lidbeer festival, the “KharchFest” was held, dedicated to the food industry of the Hrodna region. The concert’s headliner was Olga Buzova, who is under sanctions for supporting the war. In 2025, Russian performers were also among the headliners.
“That Lidbeer where Okean Elzy, Krambambulya, and Piatlia Prykhilnasci performed on the same stage will remain in my heart forever. It’s interesting, of course, who the headliner will be this time?” users wrote in the comments (spelling preserved).
