The Kastus Kalinouski Regiment and its units have been added to Russia’s “List of Terrorists and Extremists,” according to the website of Rosfinmonitoring.

In Belarus, the Kalinouski Regiment was designated a terrorist organization in September 2024. In July 2025, the formation was also declared a terrorist organization in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).

The Kalinouski Regiment is a volunteer unit formed in the spring of 2022 following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. It is part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and operates within the International Legion under Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defence.
