In Navahrudak, a 19th-century building that once formed part of the historic торговые ряды has been put up for sale.
In 1812, wooden торговые ряды appeared in the center of Navahrudak, which were replaced by stone structures in the 1830s.
The main торговый корпус, which was located in the center of the square, has not survived. The building now being sold is located at 3 Minskaya Street. It features architecture characteristic of classicism: a gallery created with columns surrounds the elongated rectangular structure.
According to the technical passport, the brick building was constructed in 1832. It has the status of a historical and cultural value and is therefore exempt from property tax.
The building has been used for trade throughout its history. It is located in the city center on Minskaya Street, near Lenin Square and the Adam Mickiewicz House-Museum. The last restoration was carried out in 1953.
The auction is scheduled for May 12. The starting price of the lot is 150,000 Belarusian rubles. The building’s area is 238 square meters, and the land plot covers 0.0438 hectares.
