Belarus is improving the procedure for accrediting legal entities to conduct public opinion polls, including the work of the relevant Commission under the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The corresponding resolution was signed today by Prime Minister Alyaksandr Turchyn.

The document defines the composition and procedure for forming the commission, and establishes its powers and rights regarding accreditation, continuous analysis, and evaluation of public opinion poll results.

Requirements are set for legal entities wishing to conduct public opinion polls and disseminate their results in the media, on internet resources, and on news aggregators.

The resolution also regulates the procedure for maintaining the register of legal entities accredited to conduct public opinion polls.
