The Ministry of Finance has announced the first auction this year for the placement of U.S. dollar-denominated government bonds. The auction will take place on February 17.
The nominal value of one bond will be $1,000. The bonds are scheduled to mature on January 28, 2031. The placement volume of the 357th issue and the size of the interest income will be determined based on the auction results. Income on the securities will be paid semiannually.
Earlier this year, the Ministry of Finance issued bearer bonds for individuals totaling $70 million. These bonds are being sold through authorized banks.
