The CSTO summit will take place in Kyrgyzstan on 27 November, the organization’s secretariat said.
A joint meeting of the Councils of Foreign Ministers, Defence Ministers and the Committee of Security Council Secretaries will be held in Bishkek on Thursday. A session of the Collective Security Council is also scheduled for that day.
“At the CSTO CSC session, a Declaration is expected to be adopted reflecting the consolidated positions of the member states on current security issues, and the candidacy of the CSTO Secretary General for the upcoming three-year term (2026–2029) will be considered. In addition, the priorities of the Russian Federation’s upcoming chairmanship of the Organization in 2026 are expected to be announced,” the secretariat said.
