At the Belarus-China Forum on Industrial and Investment Cooperation, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng outlined a number of proposals for developing bilateral cooperation. Among the promising areas he identified were agriculture, mechanical engineering, medicine, digitalisation, artificial intelligence and new materials, BELTA reports.
“We are ready to increase trade in agricultural products and engineering goods, and to expand industrial and investment cooperation,” he said, adding that the industrial systems of the two countries are highly complementary.
Han Zheng described Belarus and China as “true friends and good partners” and highlighted the dynamic nature of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries. He said the Great Stone Industrial Park was operating effectively and expressed readiness to develop relations “in a spirit of sincerity and mutual trust” regardless of turbulence in the global environment.
