The chairman of the Stolin District Executive Committee, Aliaksandr Pachko, has likely been detained. The reason may be suspected bribery, the Media-Polesye outlet reports.
According to the publication, Pachko was detained on the premises of the Mikashievichy Sviatanak health resort and then transferred to Homiel.
As of 22:00, Pachko’s surname was not listed in the “leadership” section on the website of the Stolin District Executive Committee. His work telephone is not answering.
An extended staff meeting was held at the district executive committee today. It was chaired by Deputy Chairman Vasil Litvinkevich.
Aliaksandr Pachko was appointed chairman of the Stolin District Executive Committee in April 2025.
