“My heart is broken forever. I cannot believe it. My beloved has died. My love, my happiness! I miss you so much, your strong embraces, your sincere laughter, your kind heart. You were our support and our strength. Even though you fought and protected us, it was you who was our reliable rear. My tears are endless. My sorrow is boundless… My heart is torn apart with pain! Vasya died on March 4 while carrying out a combat mission,” she wrote.
Rapitski is survived by two minor children.
