The State Authority for Military Industry of Belarus has signed contracts with Tajikistan. This was reported by the authority following a visit to Dushanbe by its chairman, Dzmitry Pantus.
Talks were held with Tajik Defence Minister Emomali Sobirzoda, during which issues of military-technical cooperation were discussed.
“Following the meeting, a number of contracts aimed at strengthening Tajikistan’s defence capabilities were signed, confirming the high level of trust between our countries,” the authority said.
The content of the contracts has not been disclosed. Pantus also discussed issues of industrial cooperation with Tajik Industry Minister Nazar Aziz, focusing on potential joint projects.
The Belarusian delegation also visited several industrial enterprises.
