Belarusian enterprise OJSC Alevkurp has completed the development of an experimental low-power electric motor for unmanned aerial vehicles. According to the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus, the 4.44 kW motor successfully passed tests that confirmed its technical characteristics are comparable to foreign analogues.
All components were manufactured at domestic enterprises using materials available in Belarus. At the same time, two types of motor controllers and test software for sensorless control were developed.
The project was carried out under the supervision of Siarhei Kavaleu, head of the department of analog and power electronics. Following the results of the work, the enterprise plans to move on to experimental design and development work in this field.
