Belarus and Slovakia held political consultations on Thursday. The Belarusian side was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Ihar Sakreta, while the Slovak side was represented by Foreign Ministry Political Director Martin Kačo.
Belarus’ Foreign Ministry said the meeting took place in a trusting atmosphere. The sides discussed Belarusian-Slovak cooperation in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres and exchanged views on current international issues.
“During the consultations, the parties agreed on specific steps to further strengthen political cooperation, including the continuation of dialogue at various levels and the implementation of joint projects,” the ministry said.
