A 16-year-old girl riding a scooter was injured in a traffic accident that took place overnight at the intersection of Kalesnikava and Liutsynskaya streets in Minsk.
As the Minsk City Executive Committee’s traffic police department said, according to preliminary information, the girl failed to yield to a trolleybus. She was crossing on a green light at a pedestrian crossing but did not dismount from the scooter, which led to the collision. The trolleybus left the roadway as a result.
The injured girl was taken to hospital for examination.
